Drew Rhodes Development AssociateDrew hails from his family’s farm in the thumb of Michigan, and moved across the state to attend Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and certification in Nonprofit Management, Drew spent two years working in the WMU Development Office training student fundraisers and managing the Bronco Connection Center Phonathon.

After moving to New York, Drew worked for an event management and catering company which organized dinners for hundreds of people at venues like the New York Public Library, Central Park Zoo, and the Museum of the City of New York. Drew is grateful to be able to use his experience in event planning and his passion for LGBTQ equality to help Point Scholars.  In his spare time, he loves singing, camping, biking, and falling in love with Brooklyn.

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
