Brett Janecek was a Point Scholar from 2005-2008. He attended the University of Notre Dame (Studies in Political Philosophy) and Northwestern University (B.A., Theatre). He is a current graduate student at the University of Iowa studying dramatic theory, criticism, and new play development. He is also working on developing experimental voices in the Iowa Playwright's Workshop and plans to dedicate his career to teaching, writing, and fostering diverse voices in theatre arts. This summer, he will be working on new plays/musicals in New York City.
