Chicago Cornerstone Event

Point Foundation held its annual Chicago Cornerstone at Plante Moran on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Nearly 150 guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers prepared by J & L Catering as they heard from Point Scholar Bridgette Davis and Point Alum Bryan Blaise. Bridgette and Bryan shared their stories of perseverance and success, highlighting how Point Foundation empowered and encouraged them to give back to their communities.

Led by Point Board of Directors members Ann Adams, Chris Boyle, Mark Braun, Casey Ryan, and Point Board of Trustees members Tim O’Connell, Jason Decker and Alexia Ward, the Host Committee raised $62,000 – an amount that will only continue to rise as more donations come in! The total was reached through the support of our corporate sponsors, ticket sales and donations made at the event; for which Point and our scholars are extremely grateful.

Joining in the hard work were Host Committee members Carolyn Brewer, Craig Dannenbrink, Albert Ellenich, Jeff Harms, Dave Napalo, Kenn Plebanek and Mike Swafford.

Special thanks to our sponsors, and Plante Moran for generously hosting.
