Kevin Chase

Kevin Chase is currently a Managing Director in the Los Angeles office of Diversified Search, a national retained executive search firm, where he is a member the firm’s Not-for Profit & Higher Education search practice.  Immediately prior to Diversified, Kevin was a Partner at McCormack & Associates, the country’s oldest and largest LGBT-owned executive search practice and a national leader in Diversity & Inclusion recruiting at the executive and Board level.  His search experience also includes dozens of Senior Executive and Board searches for organizations in the LGBT advocacy movement as well as HIV/AIDS service providers.

In his 20+ years in executive search business, Kevin has been a Partner in the Los Angeles offices of Battalia Winston International and A.T. Kearney Executive Search, and before that in the New York office of Paul Ray Berndtson for many years before relocating to California. Kevin spent much of his early career in Tokyo, initially in the international public relations office of NEC Corporation and later with Haas International, Inc., a New York and Tokyo-based executive search boutique. He began his career in public relations at Hill & Knowlton in 1989.

Kevin grew up in Bountiful, Utah, and received a B.A. in public relations from Brigham Young University, where he minored in Japanese and also studied Spanish. He currently resides in the Faircrest Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. He and his partner Paulo Murillo are the proud parents of Yuki, the world’s most adorable Maltese/bichon mix.
