David E. Howard

David has been involved with Point Foundation since 2005 as a volunteer, a Mentor to a Point scholar at Georgia Tech, and as a member of Point’s Mentoring Committee. He is Associate General Counsel at Coach, Inc. in New York City, where he specializes in securities law, executive compensation, and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Coach he was Associate General Counsel at Mirant Corporation in Atlanta. He graduated with honors from Wake Forest University with both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accountancy and practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Andersen LLP. He received his Juris Doctor from University of Georgia School of Law and served for six years as securities counsel at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, a midsized law firm in Atlanta. He and his family reside in New York City.
