Danielle Knight

Danielle Knight joined HBO in 2010 as Vice President & Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office. As a production attorney she provides legal services on projects in development as well as current series, such as the award-winning series Veep.  Previously, Danielle spent eight years at Warner Bros. Television as Vice President, Legal Affairs, where she served as a production attorney on numerous television pilots and series including Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Smallville and One Tree Hill, as well as WBTV’s original new media productions. Prior to joining WBTV in 2002, Danielle was an associate at the law firm Business Affairs, Inc., where she performed legal services for clients such as HBO and Lionsgate. Danielle’s entertainment industry experience also includes film production (Avenue Pictures), film distribution (Miramax Films) and talent management (Imparato Knight Fay Management). Born and raised in New Orleans, Danielle received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to her service for Point Foundation, she has served on the Board of Directors of Outfest (and was Co-President of the Board for two of her seven years of service) and has volunteered her time for GLSEN.


Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
