Tonia Poteat

Point Scholar 2004 – 2007

Tonia was a Point Scholar from 2004 - 2007 while she completed a Master of Public Health degree at Rollins School of Public Health.

She is currently enrolled at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health where she's pursuing a PhD in International Health. She also works at Chase Brexton Health Services as a Physician’s Assistant.

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
