Zach Zyskowski

Point Scholar 2004 – 2008

Zach graduated from UCLA as a Point Scholar, with college honors, in 2008 with a BA in history and a minor in global studies at the age of 20.

Since graduation, Zach entered the television industry, working on Ugly Betty (ABC) as well as in alternative series development at CBS.  Zach now works as a television producer and has produced series for ABC Family, CBS, Food Network FOX, Lifetime, and TLC, including the CBS hit Big Brother and Fox hit Hell's Kitchen. Zach recently was a producer on the critically acclaimed ABC Family docu-series Becoming Us following a a midwestern teen and his transgender parent.

An accomplished violinist, Zach performs as a soloist internationally and domestically and is a member of the Santa Monica Symphony and other chamber ensembles.

Point offers mentorship, leadership development and community service training to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) students.
