Point held its inaugural Miami Cornerstone Reception at the Betsy Hotel in South Beach on October 20, 2011. Nearly 100 guests enjoyed a beautiful evening on the hotel's rooftop deck while hearing from new Point Scholar Sarah Marshall and Alumni and Mentor Ryan Miller about their Point Foundation experiences. Point Regents Chris Genry and Shelley Freeman, Point Director of Development, Michael Marino and Jeff Lehman, General Manager of the Betsy Hotel also addressed the evening's guests.
The Miami Cornerstone event grossed more than $38,000. Congratulations to the Miami Host Committee for their execution of a successful inaugural event for Point in South Florida!
