Seattle Cornerstone Society Event

Point Foundation held its inaugural Seattle Cornerstone event on March 22, 2012 at the private residence of Gregory Carmichael. Close to 100 guests enjoyed appetizers, cocktails and 270 degree sweeping views of Puget Sound, downtown Seattle and the Space Needle as they heard from Point Scholars Cara Cerise and Kyle Rapinan, who shared compelling stories about their experience with Point Foundation. Other scholars and alumni in attendance included Derrick Blechinger, Jordan Simonson and Point Alumnus and Trustee, Jesse Gilliam.

Under the direction of Board of Directors Member, Kelli Smith-Bailey, the Host Committee raised nearly $40,000. Special thanks goes out to Kelli Smith-Bailey, Gregory Carmichael, John & Cristi Ludwig, the sponsors and the host committee for hosting a successful inaugural Point Cornerstone event!

Following the event, a generous donation in the amount of $50,000 was made byJohn & Cristi Ludwig.
