Point Foundation empowers promising LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society.
Welcome:
Point Foundation held its annual Washington, DC Cornerstone at the Equality Center on Thursday, May 3. Nearly 100 guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as they heard from Executive Director & CEO Jorge Valencia and Point Scholar Dan O’Neill and Alumna Ashland Johnson who shared their compelling stories about their experiences with Point Foundation. Under the direction of Regent & Host Committee Chair Glen H. Ackerman more than $48,000 was raised. A special thanks goes to the sponsors and the Host Committee for making this another successful Point Cornerstone event!View full photo gallery here.
