Zack Speir is a graduate of Franklin College at the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Zack focused his studies on gender and sexuality, and he spent two years working in a clinical lab researching aggression perpetrated towards gender non-conforming people.
After graduating, Zack worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Zack also worked as a research assistant for documentarian Ryan James Yezak on his upcoming film, Second Class Citizens, which explores legal inequalities for gay and lesbian people in the US.
In his free time, Zack enjoys traveling, volunteering as a crisis counselor for The Trevor Project and leading initiatives for LGBTQIA people who are spiritual or religious.
