Which program are you pursuing and what about the subject intrigues you most?

Electrical and Computer Engineering - the fact that just a hunk of organized silica can produce such elaborate and precise activities delights me. I love learning about computers at the hardware level.

What are your career aspirations?

To become a chip designer.

What is a fun fact about you that few people know?

I build synthesizers, do roller derby, and have bred algae before.

What is your favorite book/movie/song and why?

Book: Borderland anthology series - it showcases myriad styles and very underrepresented aspects of the dark horror genre.

What is your current favorite streaming binge?

Cake - it's so absurd.

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?

Make synth music, train my kitties, and practice park skating.

How are you practicing self-care during this difficult time?

Working out, tidying up daily, and keeping up with my friends who I no longer can see physically.

How are you adjusting to remote life and what are your tips to stay motivated?

Routines and schedules. Treating yourself regularly.

As a Point Scholar, what is your message to other LGBTQ+ students?

Never stop striving for excellence. Community may sometimes come and go, but in the end, your adherence to your standards and goals will take you to new heights and community engagements. Never give up your heart
