Join Point Scholars Kirin Gupta, Xoë Sazzle, and Tyler McDougald for a discussion about LGBTQ history, their decision to study the past, and the lessons they’ve learned from the LGBTQ leaders who came before us.

About the Program

Kirin is a combined JD/PhD Scholar of International Law and Legal History at Harvard University, where she studies gender and rebellion in the former British Empire. Tyler is a History and English major at Clemson University, the founder of the Clemson Rainbow Fellowship, and Point’s first Scholar attending school in South Carolina. Xoë is a Women’s and Gender Studies major at Columbia University and a leader for LGBTQ rights in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago.
