Featured from CNN to PBS to Cosmo for her expertise in bisexual community and LGBTQ activism, Amy Andre is the co-author of Bisexual Health: An Introduction and Model Practices for HIV/STI Prevention (published by the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force). Recently, Amy went to the White House to advise on bisexual health and bi community needs. An in-demand speaker on issues such as bisexual health and LGBTQ rights, Amy has educated thousands of people at over 100 universities and companies, including Microsoft, Harvard, Brown, and Stanford Medical School. A blogger for the Huffington Post, Amy's writing appears in countless publications, including AlterNet, American Sexuality, The Bilerico Project, Bridges: A Jewish Feminist Journal, ColorLines, Curve, and The Miami Herald. She also has essays in the books LGBTQ America Today, Nobody Passes: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity, Waking up American: Coming of Age Bi-Culturally, Getting Bi: Voices of Bisexuals Around the World, and many more. Amy holds a master's degree in sexuality studies, and, as a Point Foundation Scholar, earned an MBA in nonprofit management from the University of California, Berkeley.
