Analis is a proud Peruvian American raised in Tacoma, Washington. She has spent several years traveling both in the U.S. and abroad, volunteering with numerous organizations that focus on equity, justice, and safety for all. In 2015, she graduated from the Tacoma School of the Arts, before going on to teach English to children in schools across the Gorkha district of Nepal, and in a Safe Home for victims of human trafficking in Hetauda. She then returned to the U.S. to work at a preschool and daycare. She has worked in numerous childcare settings, including safe homes for foster youth, daycares, and schools, and loves supporting children and families in finding accessible ways to thrive. Someday, she hopes to become a child psychologist to further deepen her love of providing trauma-informed care to the families and children who need it most.
