Angel is a gay, multiracial-latinx, male, first generation college student. Growing up on the west side of Chicago in a Christian home, Angel believed that college was never within reach due to the struggles of daily life. After coming out, Angel found a new community and developed amazing friendships. With their love and support, he took the plunge into furthering his education. Outside of school, he enjoys playing videogames, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and never misses an opportunity to volunteer at various LGBTQ+ organizations and events. He encourages others to live their truth and offers support to those in need. Angel is pursuing his BFA in Interior Architecture. After completing his BFA, he is planning to pursue his master’s in fine arts (MFA) in themed entertainment design. Angel hopes to obtain a position in the theme park design industry.
