Angelique Walker is a fulltime Automotive student at Skyline Community College in San Bruno, CA. The day they graduated high school in Berea, KY, they journeyed on a national backpacking trip for 5 years. During this they had come out about being pansexual and spent a lot of time volunteering in free food kitchens and youth outreach services. They volunteered last year through Altruist Relief coordinating with Comidas no Bombas, outreaching resources for the Central American refugees where they maintained the communications with a women’s shelter and LGBTQ+ safe house. They have now dedicated their time to gaining an automotive and engineering degree, hoping to bring innovative designs and education to communities and help anyone on the road in need. Angelique has dedicated their heart to social justice and speaking up for those who are still finding their voices.
