After interning for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor during the summer of 2015, Atticus DeProspo is attending The University of Alabama School of Law. He received his B.S. degree in industrial & labor relations from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University in May 2015, graduating with honors. He wrote his senior honor thesis on LGBTQ inclusion in sports using human resource analytics. Atticus created a survey tool to measure the level of LGBTQ inclusivity in NCAA collegiate athletic departments. Atticus was a member of the Cornell Varsity Men's Soccer Team for four years, helping them win an Ivy League Title in fall 2012. He founded and was President of a chapter of Athlete Ally at Cornell, one of the most active chapters in the country, where he helped to make the athletic community a more inclusive space for LGBTQ individuals.
