Brian spent twelve years of his life in a New Jersey Catholic school. As a high school senior, Brian took the opportunity to out himself in an English class. Yet he graduated valedictorian and student body president and left the straight students with a positive image of gays.
His family strongly discouraged his quest to become a Point Scholar, even refusing to provide funding for his trip to the final round of interviews. He wants to use his education to chronicle the plight of all American minority groups. Brian would eventually like to enter politics to affect legislation that will promote social justice and equality.
