Caden Haney is originally from Greene County, Virginia, right at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but now resides in Richmond, where he attends Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Caden is eager to continue learning specialist skills to pursue a career goal of working in domestic distribution within the medical supply industry that can one day be used to create a more flexible and resilient supply chain model. Caden is actively involved in uplifting his communities, online and in person. His passion for LGBTQ rights led him to become a facilitator for multiple transgender support groups and participate in multiple boards with the ultimate goal of aiding underserved populations. As a former trans youth, Caden uses his experiences to advocate against stigma and for the inclusion of trans people of color to ensure equal equality within the broader LGBTQ community.
