Meet Our Scholars

Daniel Hadi from Portland, Oregon is a change-maker, activist, and political organizer. He co-founded Club Hope at Mountainside High School to provide fiscal support, awareness, and a voice to homeless students in his community. Daniel also co-founded Rhizome, a national organization that empowers students to build nonpartisan civic literacy campaigns. Striving to promote intercultural understanding, he studied Arabic in Rabat, Morocco through the US State Department's National Security Language Initiative for Youth. In his free time, Daniel is an oboist, captain of the Speech and Debate Team, collects coins, and studies etymology.
