Eriana Mendoza is from Portoviejo, Ecuador. Her parents and Eriana came to the United States when she was 15 years old. Her parents mean the whole world to her. They are the reason why she is here and why she can have an education. They have supported her in every aspect of her life, and they are the reason why she works hard every single day, so she can make them proud, the same way she is proud of them.
Eriana will receive her associate degree this fall and will be graduating with honors, which she is really proud of. Afterward, she would like to study architecture, which is her passion. She truly thinks it is a gift to be able to study something where you can leave a lasting impact on the world.
Eriana is also the president of the American Institute of Architecture Students Chapter at her school. She would love to continue learning and going to school, so this scholarship would allow her to turn a dream into a reality and possibly into a building in the future.
