Inji Jaber is a 20-year-old Palestinian American working her way through college. She’s currently majoring in Art at San Diego City College with plans to transfer to San Diego State. She has always found a strong connection to art and wants to work as an Art therapist after graduating. Inji grew up in a Muslim household with 7 siblings so at times it was difficult to express and understand the world around her. It was through art that she was able to embrace her sexuality and gain the confidence to grow from her past. Emotions can be difficult and hard to express so she hopes with art therapy people can express what they are going through without having to put it into words. Inji believes that art has the potential to change lives and even more, save lives.
