Jaime Truzman was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Isla de Margarita, Venezuela. Throughout his years in school in his home country, he suffered from many bullying experiences. Moving to the United States at the age of 15 was a big change, which allowed him the opportunity to come out as gay to his family and friends. Jaime hopes to be a voice for younger adolescents that are suffering from homophobia, even though he lived through difficult moments during elementary school and high school. Jaime is achieving goals in Santa Fe College, where he is a Student Ambassador. He hopes to transfer next year to the prestigious Rosen College of Hospitality Management of the University of Central Florida to obtain a bachelors in hospitality management.
