Jasper Benner is transgender and queer. He is a transgender, Black Lives Matter, and mental health advocate. He is a psychology major that plans on transferring from community college to UC Davis. After graduating, his ultimate dream is to get accepted into UC Berkeley’s clinical psychology doctorate program. His eventual career goal is to work at a mental health hospital in the Sacramento region, helping people with serious mental illness. He also hopes to work for LGBT nonprofits as an affordable therapist to the queer community. He loves reading, being able to go to college, and helping people however he can.
