Klo Garoute is a choral conductor, singer, composer, and producer with experience in interactive music and audio technology. She enjoys involvement in various musical styles. She has participated as a singer, a piano accompanist, and a director for chamber choruses, theatrical productions, and recording ensembles. Klo obtained a bachelor’s degree in electronic production & design from Berklee College of Music, where she studied contemporary writing, recording, and production techniques, audio design for mixed media formats, and vocal pedagogy. Her original works performed or recorded include the musical Dreamscape (2018), choral works for The Underground Choir (2017–2019), numerous arrangements for PXL8 Video Game Music Choir (2016–2019), and multiple scores for collaborative mixed media projects. Outside of her academic work, Klo maintained and directed numerous extra-curricular vocal ensembles and served as a keyboardist for the touring progressive rock band Space Junk Is Forever (2016–2021). Following graduation from Berklee, Klo served as the Interim Artistic Director for Boston Choral Ensemble and in several roles at Boston Children’s Chorus. Klo currently lives in Los Angeles, California, and attends the University of Southern California, where she is pursuing a Master of Music degree in choral music.
