Meet Our Scholars

Kyle Casteel is a student and political worker in Indianapolis, Indiana. After receiving the Point Foundation's 2018 Community College Scholarship, he successfully transferred from Ivy Tech Community College to Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in Spring 2019. Kyle has been a proud part of campaigns and coalitions to bring legal protections and recognition to the LGBTQ community in Indiana. While Kyle still consults with campaigns and candidates from time to time, he is currently focused on completing his dual bachelor’s degrees in Policy and Global & International Studies. Kyle hopes to be the first person in his family to attend law school.
