Volunteering is very important to Lerkeshia Littlejohn. Lerkeshia volunteers her free time at various centers, including the homework center located in her apartment complex, in the kitchen during the summer at her home church, and at the daycare that her family owns. Lerkeshia’s passions include caring for people, helping with the disabled, advocating for Devic’s Syndrome, cooking and cleaning. Her dream is to open an inclusive childcare center that caters to children with special needs. Her reason is because there is a huge need for a facility of her caliber. Most parents of genderfluid, disabled and handicapped children have a hard time finding proper childcare. Her goal is to make it easier for the parent and the children by offering a safe place for them to be properly cared for.
