Ms. Mariah Giabiconi is a trans woman of color who is currently enrolled as a nursing student at Adelphi University. She is an active member of the LGBTQ community and a light for LGBTQ youths. She volunteered at Pride for Youth, a nonprofit LGBTQ center, before becoming an employee there. She left Pride for Youth to focus solely on her education and expects to graduate in December 2023. Her goals are to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and to work as an ICU nurse. Eventually, she will want to further her education and advance her career as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Her personal passions are cars, motorcycles, eating out with friends and family, hiking, camping, swimming, and helping others in need.
