Michelle Marzullo, Ph.D. is a practicing anthropologist specializing in critical sexuality studies. She is Chair and Professor of the Human Sexuality Department at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), leading only the second fully accredited Human Sexuality PhD program in the U.S. She leverages her position to be a convener of academics and advocates to foster critical sexuality studies that by definition centers issues of power as these relate to sexuality, sex, and gender. Dr. Marzullo’s work spans academic and practical applications. She has worked on a wide range of research and consultancy engagements such as: 1. LGBTQ access to higher education; 2. artificial intelligence and sexual & reproductive health; 3. workplace diversity and inclusion; 4. sexuality, marriage, and economics in the U.S.; and 5.
