Payton is a sophomore pre-medical student at Linn Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. She is an aspiring neurosurgeon who anticipates participating in Surgeons Overseas to help improve surgical care in developing countries. Her goals also include the renovation and/or foundation of a medical facility in a country needing access to improved medical care. She has overcome numerous accounts of sexual orientation invalidation as well as sexual harassment, assault, and prejudice. She is a biracial, openly bisexual female who hopes to inspire others and build meaningful relationships. Payton is a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Oregon State University and enjoys her free time hiking, travelling, cooking, and spending time with her friends. She loves to socialize and try new things. She promotes others to be unapologetically yourself and hopes to inspire others along her journey to be healthy, make new friends, and embrace a generally positive outlook on life.
