Stephanie is a doctorate student at the University of South Florida (USF) School of Social Work. She started her doctoral journey after a diverse background of professional experiences. She is a retired professional athlete and worked as a licensed social work supervisor in a child welfare agency in Philadelphia. She recently finished serving two consecutive terms as an executive committee member for the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS). She remains involved with several of the organization's efforts and projects. Stephanie's research interests involve young adult populations diagnosed with osteoarthritis (OA) and disparities among marginalized populations.
