Stephanie is a first-generation, lesbian, 42-year-old mother, and college student at Front Range Community College perusing a nursing degree. She is an active member of the Federal TRIO program and has been a mentor to other TRIO students. As a mentor, she provided motivation and support to her mentees, guiding them in completing degrees as first-generation students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Stephanie is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to all her patients. She intends to demonstrate love and acceptance of every individual she comes into contact with, honoring and respecting the dignity and worth of every patient. She is a firm believer in leading by example and hopes to serve as a role model for her teammates in the healthcare setting.
