Wilder is a civil rights and employment lawyer in California. They graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2009. They live in Sonoma County with their family. Originally from Nebraska, Wilder played a key role in advocating for LGBTQI rights in the early 2000s. They went onto work on the same issues in Washington, DC where they played a key role in helping to defeat George W. Bush’s proposed Federal Marriage Amendment, which would have constitutionally prohibited the recognition of same-gender relationships. Wilder credits the support of the Point Foundation for helping to achieve many of their personal and professional dreams.
