The National Leadership Conference (NLC) is an opportunity to connect with fellow Point Scholars, build relationships with Point staff and board members, and participate in workshops designed to support your leadership development, career growth, and sense of belonging within the Point community.
For 2026-2027 Flagship scholars, attending the National Leadership Conference (NLC) is a requirement of your scholarship. Exemptions will be granted only in rare circumstances. If you are unable to attend—whether for part or all of the three days—please be prepared to share a clear explanation for your requested absence.

The National Leadership Conference is not a public event. Only Point Scholars, Alumni and leadership who receive an invitation may RSVP.
- Thursday, July 16 to Sunday, July 19 in Los Angeles, California in Los Angeles, California
- Travel costs to/from Los Angeles paid for or reimbursed by Point
- Meals and per diem costs provided
- Hotel accommodations provided (two scholars per room)

Do I need to attend?
Registration and attendance are required for invited scholars based on the scholarships awarded to them. If you are unable to attend, please contact Jose Flores as soon as possible for instructions.
