B.S. in Neuroscience, with interests in Public Health, Religion, & Medicine.

What are your education and career aspirations?

Physician & Medical Educator

What is a fun fact about you that few people know?

I learned to sing the Venezuelan national anthem in an indigenous language (Warao) back in 6th grade.

What is your favorite book/movie/song and why?

Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts - I love the process of finding oneself, the wonderlust feeling of travel, and the trailblazers of love.

What is your current favorite streaming binge and why?

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 - comedic relief of the week with a touch of queer magic.

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?

Meditation & Weightlifting

How are you practicing self-care during this difficult time?

Skincare (always sunscreen!), mindfulness, & staying connected.

How are you adjusting to remote life and what are your tips to stay motivated?

Create a space only to study/work, stick to a structured routine, and implement behavioral management systems (e.g. put your phone in another room while you focus, etc.)

Put yourself out there! You miss 100% of the chances you don't take. Let your unique experiences be the assets you bring to any team and make your work ethic be known.
