What is Out in Higher Ed Week?
Out in Higher Ed Week is Point Foundation’s annual event dedicated to amplifying LGBTQ+ and ally voices in higher education.
This year, more than ever, we need to come together to protect the future of LGBTQ+ students and fight for equality. Amid increasing threats and harmful rhetoric, LGBTQ+ and ally students are rising above and shaping a brighter future. But they need our support.
What is Point Foundation?
The Point Foundation mission is to empower promising lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential – despite the obstacles often put before them – to make a significant impact on society.

Point's Impact
"Without Point’s support I wouldn’t be attending California State University, Long Beach because I wouldn't have the funds to follow my dreams. In addition, receiving a Point scholarship has allowed me to make connections with other students that understand how it feels to be alienated." - Jimena, NBCUniversal Scholar
