What college/university are you attending and what made you choose it?

UC Riverside School of Medicine - I wanted to attend a medical school that served the community it’s a part of, and UCR SOM does an excellent job of serving the vulnerable members of our community.

Which program are you pursuing and what about the subject intrigues you most?

Medical Degree: the ability to care and heal our patients in their most vulnerable moments.

What are your career aspirations?

Become an Emergency Medicine physician.

What is a fun fact about you that few people know?

I was a part of a nationally competitive traditional Western Indian dance team in college!

What is your favorite book/movie/song and why?

Mean Girls - because it’s fetch!

What is your current favorite streaming binge?

The Great British Baking Show - so pleasant and wholesome!

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?

Hiking, binging new shows, and spending time with loved ones.

How are you practicing self-care during this difficult time?

Staying busy on hospital shifts and taking as many naps as possible in between.

How are you adjusting to remote life and what are your tips to stay motivated?

Keep a routine (even if its confined to 4 walls) and stick with it!
