Point Foundation invites students to submit questions online about applying for scholarships which are answered by Point Scholars. Below is a question from our #AskPointScholars Inbox:

I am not a lesbian. I am a bisexual female. Will being bisexual and not lesbian prevent me from even being considered for a scholarship?

Voices On Point Scholar Gregory Davis says:

As a Point Scholar and a member of the bisexual community (with an opposite-sex partner, no less), I want you to know that there is no burden in the application process for bisexuals like you and me.  In fact, being bisexual benefited my application; I was able to add to the diversity of the Point Scholars and make sure other voices were heard.  I would encourage you to apply and join the other bisexuals in the Point family.

Visit http://pointfoundation.org/apply for more information about Point Foundation's Scholarship. If you have a question about applying for scholarships, submit your question to #AskPointScholars today.
